Post 15 – Shopping in Paris.

It’s cold in Paris. It really is. I’m glad that I packed my trench 🙂

One of my favorite things to do in Paris is to dress like a Parisienne – chic, cute, fun, unique and elegant! Although I’ve never lived there this is coming from my tourist point of view but I believe a trench with cute flats does the trick when shopping Paris-style.

Will on the hunt, I found super cute shoes at Christian Dior but they only had size 39.  I left heartbroken so if anyone can find a size 36 please let me know!

After an exhausting shopping day, my mom and I went to the spa in Hotel Le Maurice.  It was heavenly and I give it the highest recommendation.

After that it was on to one of the best restaurants in the 6th district of Paris, “Toyo” a Japanese style French restaurant.  It is named after the chef Toyo Nakayama who was formerly personal chef to famous fashion designer Kenzo.  The food is very French but incorporates less butter and cream.  You can also taste a hint of soy sauce.  If you are looking for a little unique French meal, it is the place.
