Post 14 – A Taste of Home in Paris.

We flew in from Venice to Paris in the morning and first stop, a Japanese udon restaurant “Kunitoraya” for lunch.

This udon noodle is originated in Sanuki, Japan.  This is where my father was from so I grew up eating this type of noodle all the time. Yummmm…  it felt so good in my stomach after having Italian for every meal for days!  Not really complaining though because Italian food is delicious!

After devouring the noodles, my mom and I decided to kick back, chat, and take a nap in our rooms.  The days before in Venice were extremely busy and we were exhausted.  Once awake it was back to indulging in delicious food!

For dinner, we again… you guessed it… had Japanese!  This time it was SUSHI! There is a new restaurant called Jin Saint-Honoré that just opened in January and already super popular!!   the chef is Takuya Watanabe, famous for several restaurants in Sapporo.  The décor was done by Paris-based architect Jun Yonekawa.  The food, drinks, interior, service… Everything was absolutely lovely!!!!! It now is one of most favorite restaurants in Paris.
