Post 13 – Eventful day in Venice.

To say we were busy in Venice is an understatement.  Each moment there was packed with adventure.  First we had breakfast at Hotel Gritti Palace where we were staying.

Next it was one to a traditional mode of venetian transportation.  My mom and I rode in a gondola and were accompanied by the gondolier, a singer and guitar player. And of course, my mom and I had to join in on the fun.  They played so many songs that we knew that we had to sing along with them… very loudly! LOL!!

For lunch, we went to Locanda Cipriani! It is a rustic wineshop was transformed into a country inn.  The place has a gorgeous garden and of course delicious food!

And the night ended with a fabulous Van Cleef and Arpel dinner.

I had the pleasure of meeting and the 3 Presidents.  You can see my mom and I with from left -VCA America President Alain Bernard, VCA Asia President Brice Baudoin, VCA World President Nicolas Bos.

The real highlight of the night was being able to try on a Van Cleef antique diamonds necklace :)))  Luxurious love!
